EpiPens for All-- A recent NY Times Opinion Piece

Just in case you missed it, I wanted to share with you an op-ed that was published in the New York Times last week.  The article is called EpiPens for All, and it chronicles some of the recent efforts made to make sure that students have access to epinephrine auto-injectors at school in the event of a food-allergic reaction.  If you make it to the end of the article (it's only 1 page long), you'll find a discussion of the Chicago Public Schools food allergy policy, which I have been involved in planning and evaluating.  I'm so glad this article made it into the NY Times, since I really believe in the importance of taking measures like these to ensure that our children are healthy and safe at school. I hope you enjoy it!
