The FARE Chicago Gala is Nov 2nd

It's hard to believe that November is quickly approaching, but that means that it's time for FARE's annual Chicago Gala!  I've attended this for the past few years and every year it's so much fun! It's also one of the major sources of funding for FARE, which is a fabulous organization.  If you're not familiar with FARE's work, FARE stands for Food Allergy Research and Education, and was formed after the Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN) and Food Allergy Initiative (FAI) merged last year.  FARE has a 4 part mission:

1) Providing evidence-based education and resources for food allergy stakeholders
2) Undertaking advocacy at all levels of government (local, state and federal)
3) Increasing awareness of food allergies as a serious public health issue, and
4) Investing in world-class research that advances treatment and understanding of food allergies

This year's gala will be particularly exciting for me personally because I've agreed to auction off "A day in the life of a food allergy researcher" aka ME.  So, please come and show your support!  You can find more info about the event here.
