The ARCC Community-Engaged Research Partnership Award

As someone who's been involved in community-engaged research for many years, I was so happy to learn yesterday that our team was awarded the 2014 Alliance for Research in Chicagoland Communities (ARCC) Community-Engaged Research Partnership Award!  We received the award for our ongoing research collaboration with Lilliana DeSantiago-Cardenas, Blair Harvey-Gintoft and others in the Chicago Public Schools Office for Student Health and Wellness.  On our end, Victoria Rivkina MPH has been working tirelessly to ensure the success of our partnership. Together, we have been working to improve chronic disease verification, medication access and outcomes for CPS Students.  We thank our partners, colleagues, and friends at CPS for their commitment to our research partnership and look forward to our bright future ahead.
